Two Types of People

There are two types of people

1. “The chances are low”

2. “There’s a chance”

1. “I can’t do it”

2. “How can I do it?”

1. “This is too hard”

2. “How can I get better?”

Which one are you? Which one do you want to be?

  1. I am definitely Person 1, but I’m currently working REALLY hard to become Person 2 – or at least, Person 2 *most* of the time, haha!

    • It’s difficult to truly become something like that, there’s no denying it. But remember this…The first step to becoming that person, is asking yourself how you are going to do it. That’s the start, any you’ll only get better from then on. And if worse comes to worse, you can always be a sarcastic smart ass like me 🙂

      • Oh, I’m already a professional smart ass and world class cynic 😛
But I would like to have SOME of Person 2 in me, just because I feel like it would help me get through some things better, and it’d help me help others get through rough times easier as well.
        Thanks for the encouragement 🙂

  2. On a more serious note. It really is an odd process. I don’t believe there is a step-by-step guide to changing who you are. But if you are serious on becoming person 2, I have no doubt in my mind that you will become something truly special. And who knows, maybe you and I will both make our own little dent in the world. Keep working! If you want some more personal experience from myself or other odd stuff like that, feel free to use the readers email (you’ll be the first so do me a favor and do it anyway so I can feel like it’s relevant) 🙂
